I hate life. Macbook power cord broken. Up until 3.30 last night. Didn’t run. Missed class. Project due today. Assignment due today. 3 assignments due Friday. Don’t even know what I ate or am gonna eat. FML.

Last night I finished my first 4k run! It wasn’t too bad, I wanted to die a little bit at the beginning, but once I got into a good stride everything was smooth sailing. What sucked about it was a) my headphones completely broke on lap 5 (of 20), and b) I almost puked after. But those are minor details. I’m hoping I can recover faster from the first few laps tonight. Trying to Stay on Track

Starting the 2k
Lunch ended up being a fried egg man (with the help of a gingerbread man cookie cutter) with salsa on top, hahahaha. :) Afternoon snack was some almonds, and dinner was a fried egg sandwich with some Classico tomato sauce, mushrooms, and broccoli on top. The End of Turkey Weekend aka: Days 6, 7, 8, after...
Exercise-wise, I got nothing accomplished this weekend. Actually, that’s a lie, I did bike to my friend’s house rather fast, AND walked around the mall for a total of probably 4 hours over the course of Friday/Saturday. That counts, right? Well, that fell off fast.
Dinner tonight: turkey sandwich with tomato and lettuce. :) I stepped on the scale while waiting for the shower a few minutes ago and I’m down to 124 lbs since Monday .. cooooool. I’ve noticed in the past year that I can drop and gain weight REALLY fast, so I’m hoping it will become somewhat regular once I get settled into a good routine with the challenge.

Finally, the LONG WEEKEND!! aka Day 5
As I was buried under piles of homework yesterday, I neglected to go workout, but I’m back today! This week I’m starting with 1k runs, and as I get further along I feel like I’m actually progressing. :) The bum ankle is lasting longer without pain, and I can breathe easier by the end of the run than even two days ago. Thinking Ahead
So I came up with some new goals for myself to accomplish during the 8 Week Challenge. First off, get back into decent shape and be able to run 10k at a good pace! Second is to join speed skating again. I skated for 3 years and had to give it up because figure skating was getting too busy. Now I don’t figure skate anymore, so I’m gonna continue speed skating! I can’t wait :)

3 Day Hump
So, first run of the challenge was kind of difficult, but I did get about 30 minutes in at a good pace. My ankle friggen kills though, and I’m hoping tonight will be better. Day 3 sucks so far. Breakfast is toast, snack is corn things, lunch is pasta, snack is cucumber and hummus, and dinner is probably more pasta.
